DropWeight® Rigging Sandbags — Pre-Filled Hanging Weights
When overhead stability matters, DropWeight® delivers a dependable, purpose-built solution. Unlike saddle or dual-handle bags designed to drape or rest on equipment, DropWeights® are engineered for hanging applications where compact form, secure hardware, and balanced weight are essential.
Constructed from 1000D Cordura® and filled with clean chip sand, each bag is permanently sewn shut to eliminate leaks and reduce maintenance. A stainless-steel hanging system with a detachable strap and double D-rings enables fast, secure placement on truss, rigging points, or technical/medical equipment. The 5" round base lets the bag stand upright when staged, while an integrated carry handle and weight ID tag streamline handling across multiple setups.
